Gautam Malkani

Gautam Malkani (m. 1994) is a British journalist and author.

He was born in Hounslow, London on August 27, 1976. Malkani's mother was a Ugandan of Indian descent. He studied Social and Political Sciences at Christ's College from 1994 to 1997.

He writes for The Financial Times, and is the author of the novel Londonstani. He has worked on The Financial Times UK news desk in London as well as in the Washington bureau. He is currently an associate editor on The Financial Times Weekend Magazine, after a spell on the newspaper's Business Life section.

Malkani currently resides in London.
