As befits a College with a strong academic record, we have developed exciting plans to redevelop the library, and the area around it to create a new court: CRASH - the Christ's Research and Study Hub.
Rick Mather Architects (best known perhaps for their acclaimed work on the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford) have designed a state-of-the-art building that will house a library, seminar rooms and an exhibition space. The new court will be completed by a glassed-over area which will operate as a cafe during the day, providing a space for students, Fellows and staff to meet. The space will be used for open days for prospective students, for exhibitions, receptions and music recitals, providing a much-needed centrally located area for the College
Planning permission has been obtained and we are seeking to raise the £20m necessary to complete the project. We can offer attractive naming opportunities for significant donations.
