Students and alumni will be competing for CCBC in the annual Head of the Cam on 22 April 2023. The race will be followed by the Blades Head of Cam dinner which will take place in College in the evening.
The Head of Cam is a popular alumni event with many colleges competing and Christ’s traditionally puts out a strong alumni team of men’s and women's boats to represent the College alongside current CCBC students. The dinner is a wonderful opportunity for alumni to enjoy an evening together along with current CCBC students and all alumni and guests are welcome, whether or not you plan to row on the day.
If you have not yet visited, this is also a wonderful opportunity to visit Christ’s recently refurbished boat house which is now undoubtedly one of the best rowing facilities on the Cam. Our hope is to have as many alumni crews as possible rowing and all are welcome. If you would like to row please contact Peter Hobson (1981: peter@hobsonmoss.net).
Dinner, which will be at 7pm for a 7:30pm start, will cost £50.50 per head including four courses, a welcome drink and wine (or £44.20 for those having soft drinks.) The dress code is Boat Club blazers or formal attire. Booking for this event is now closed. If you have any problems please contact Sebastian Peel at srnp3@christs.cam.ac.uk, or on 01223768276.
Another date for your diaries is the bi-annual Blades Regatta which will be held this year on 16 September. Further details will be provided nearer the time.
