We would like to invite you to take your MA either in absentia, or in person, on Saturday 1 April 2023. If you cannot attend this Congregation but wish to proceed in person, you may do so at a later date by arrangement. Those eligible to receive their MBBChir may do so at the same ceremony. Please be sure to indicate on the registration form which degree (s) you are requesting. Apologies for the complicated formatting of the registration page.
Graduands who have changed their surname since the time of their BA graduation should ensure that they have indicated clearly the full name in which they wish to take their MA. Please forward this on to Ann Farrell at amaf2@cam.ac.uk .
Guests may attend the ceremony in the Senate House. The University will also live stream the ceremony. All Graduands will receive the link to forward on to friends and family. A maximum of two guest tickets will be available for each Graduand for entrance to the Senate House.
A precise schedule for the day will be sent to you in due course. Final instructions for the day itself will be displayed on the alumni pages of the College website (https://alumni.christs.cam.ac.uk) a week before the Congregation when the University gives us the timings. If you elect to take the degree in absentia you need do nothing more once you have returned the registration. If you have any problems, email Ann Farrell to state your wish to take the degree in absence and any name changes. Your certificate will be sent to you in due course (please ensure we have the correct address details for you).
Those electing to proceed in person on 1st April should aim to arrive in College dressed ready for the Congregation. A full dress inspection with the Praelector will take place in the Chapel. The precise timings for the day will be sent to you as soon as they are confirmed. If you are in any doubt about the dress code please consult Louise Yirrell in the Tutorial Office (ley20@cam.ac.uk ) several days in advance.

A buffet lunch will be served in Hall at 1.00pm (TBC). Graduands may book for the discounted rate of £20.00 each. You may bring two guests to lunch at a cost of £30.00 each.
We are organising a four-course dinner in Hall on the Saturday evening, at a cost of £55.00 per person (which includes wine) and we do hope that you will be able to join us. Drinks will be served in the OCR and Fellows’ Parlour from 7.00pm for dinner at 7.30pm, and the dress code for the dinner is black tie or lounge suit. Due to space limitations it is unfortunately not possible for you to bring a guest to the dinner. There is a limited number of B&B rooms available in College for the night of 1st April.
